Oculus Rift - Virtual Reality Headset

Virtual Reality headsets have been about for a while. The Oculus Rift has been in R & D for some time and now show relevance to driving. It does bring up a range of questions when it comes to image quality and field of view.
I purchased a Vuzix VR290 sometime ago and it was rubbish. Two little screens, on a headset which fell off and basically didn’t work as the firmware was outdated prior to it arriving. Vuzix solution was to send it back the US and wait 6 weeks for the firmware update to be affected.
