Perhaps even more interestingly, the video also gives us a little sneak peek at the historical version of Monza, one of the new tracks coming up for rFactor 2.

The video shows a lap around Donington in a Formula One car in both simulations. the video nicely shows the quantum leap in terms of graphics and other aspects of sim racing, while rFactor was released back in 2005, Project CARS is a current title that is still pre-alpha and is bound to improve even further before the title’s 2013 release.

Following the Build 68 update and the World Endurance GT track pack released a few days ago, Image Space Incorporated has quickly released a follow up version that addresses some small issues introduced with the new version.

The new version is 7.5mb light and available both via the title’s Auto Updater or by following the download link below.
