Back in December, MightyGate released their iHUD application that allows iOS devices to be used as data displays for rFactor.

A newly released version of the application now makes iHUD compatible to rFactor 2 as well, the update is free for all existing customers of iHUD and allows the software to be used with ISI’s new simulator.

iHUD for rFactor can display the following data using fully customizable widgets:

• RPM
• Speed
• Times:
   • Best lap
   • Best sector
   • Current Lap
   • Relative time with the car behind you and the car ahead you
• Oil temp
• Water temp
• Actual position
• Gears
• Inputs: breaks or throttle.

All that is required to use iHUD with rFactor 2 is the new plugin version that can be downloaded on MightyGate’s website here. The actual iHUD app is available in iTunes here
